Mission Oak and Tulare Union are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2021, but likely not for long. The Hawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tribe at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mission Oak is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.
On Friday, Mission Oak made easy work of Lemoore and carried off a 12-3 victory. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

Maleena Martin made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up three earned runs off ten hits. Martin was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024.
In other batting news, Taylor Shepherd was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February. Jadyn Albright was another key player, going 4-for-5 with two RBI and one run.
Mission Oak kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in seven consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Tulare Union came up short against Hanford on Friday, falling 13-5. The Tribe have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
KaiLee Gilbert was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Faith Jimenez, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
Mission Oak's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-9-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Tulare Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-12.
Mission Oak was able to grind out a solid win over Tulare Union when the teams last played back in April, winning 5-2. Do the Hawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tribe turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
