For the first time this season, Fisher will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will take on the Heyworth Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Fisher headed into their last game having not scored more than 13 points for three straight, but Westmont let them put that streak behind them. The Bunnies blew past the Sentinels, posting a 53-0 victory. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Bunnies just coasted through the last quarter.

Fisher found their leader in sophomore Andrew Todd, who rushed for 139 yards and three scores. With that strong performance, Todd is now averaging an impressive 108.5 rushing yards per game. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Colt Daugherty, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.
Fisher was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 289 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in three consecutive contests.
Special teams was a major factor in the game for Fisher, racking up 11 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Daugherty, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Heyworth hadn't done well against Tremont recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Hornets walked away with a 24-14 win over the Turks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.
Fisher better keep an eye on Parker Bell. He was instrumental in Heyworth's win, rushing for 85 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 12 carries. The dominant performance also gave Bell a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two).
Heyworth's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Fisher, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
Fisher took a serious blow against Heyworth when the teams last played back in August of 2024, falling 42-0. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Hornets' Braydon Laesch, who rushed for 83 yards and one TD on only seven carries, and also picked up 32 receiving yards. Now that the Bunnies know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
