Brethren Christian have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge St. Michael's Prep on the road at 3:30 PM on Thursday.
After having lost a blowout in their match four weeks ago against Calvary Chapel, Brethren Christian were happy to find some success three weeks ago. Brethren Christian took their match against Desert Chapel three weeks ago by a conclusive 36-14 score. Brethren Christian were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for St. Michael's Prep, and their matchup last Saturday only extended their streak of losses to three. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-60 to Avalon. St. Michael's Prep were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-32.
Brethren Christian's win lifted them to 2-4 while St. Michael's Prep's loss dropped them down to 4-3. We'll find out if Brethren Christian can add another positive mark to their record or if St. Michael's Prep can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Brethren Christian's step.
