Saranac hadn't done well against Perry recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Redhawks blew past the Ramblers 14-1. The contest marked the Redhawks' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Saranac pushed their record up to 4-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Perry, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Saranac will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Ramblers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
