There's no need to mince words: Watonga lost to Crossings Christian last week, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 6-45. This makes it the second loss in a row for Watonga.
Meanwhile, if Crescent were riding high off their 62-28 takedown of Oklahoma Christian Academy two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Crescent were given a punishing 6-41 defeat at the hands of Cashion.
Given their recent losses, both teams have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous match, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
