Last Friday, Cohen put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They took their matchup against KIPP Renaissance by a conclusive 34-6 score. The rankings were on Cohen's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result.
Meanwhile, you can't lose the contest if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Wright's strategy against Thomas Jefferson last Saturday. Wright were fully in charge, breezing past Thomas Jefferson 55-0. That looming 55-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Wright yet.
Their wins bumped Wright to 4-4 and Cohen to 5-3. With both Cohen and Wright swaggering in after impressive performances, it will be interesting to see which team steps up to teach the other some humility.
