In what's become a running theme this season, the Animo Watts Warriors gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 72-46 margin over Simon Tech. The victory was just what Animo Watts needed coming off of a 71-36 loss in their prior matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Animo Watts to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaden Em, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Em also posted eight assists for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jahari Fisher, who scored ten points along with seven steals.
Animo Watts pushed their record up to 7-6 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.6 points per game. As for Simon Tech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.
Animo Watts will head out on the road to challenge Burton at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. Burton comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last nine games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Simon Tech, they will be playing at home against New Designs Watts at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in New Designs Watts' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games.
