Softball Recap: Lane Has No Trouble Against Bowne

Lane's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the Bowne Wildcats 18-1. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 11 runs or more this season.

Lane now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Bowne, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Lane will take on Forest Hills at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. The Rangers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.14 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Bowne, they will host Cardozo at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
