Houston Adventist Academy suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Thursday. They fell just short of Calvary Baptist by a score of 60-58. Houston Adventist Academy has not had much luck with Calvary Baptist recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Ottis Crudup III, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. Crudup III is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Morrison, who scored 18 points along with three steals.
Covenant Academy's record is now 0-5. Houston Adventist Academy's record is now 7-6.
