Columbia Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Haley Collins, who scored 21 points. That was a full 48.8% of Columbia Academy's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Lillie Gentry, who scored seven points along with four steals.
Columbia Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for Franklin Road Academy, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.

Hopefully Battle Ground Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Tuesday. As for Franklin Road Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Providence Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in Providence Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matches.
