The Columbia Academy Bulldogs lost against the Franklin Road Academy Panthers on January 5th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Saturday. Columbia Academy fell to Franklin Road Academy  48-43.
 Columbia Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Haley Collins, who  scored 21 points. That was a full 48.8% of Columbia Academy's points, marking the third time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was  Lillie Gentry, who  scored seven points along with four  steals.
 Columbia Academy has  been struggling recently, as they've  lost three of their last four matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for Franklin Road Academy, the  victory was  the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbia Academy the luxury  of staying home another  game and will welcome Battle Ground Academy at 6:00  p.m.  on January 29th. Hopefully Battle Ground Academy focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 12 last Tuesday. As for Franklin Road Academy, they will look to defend their home court  on Monday against Providence Christian Academy at 6:00  p.m. One thing working in Providence Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last four matches.
