The Crossland Cavaliers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They took a serious blow against Friendly, falling 61-25. Crossland has not had much luck with Friendly recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Among those leading the charge was Joshua Butler, who scored 18 points. Bryce Harvey was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Crossland bumped their record down to 0-3 with that loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Friendly, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Crossland will be playing at home against Varsity Opponent at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Friendly, they will head out on the road to face off against Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
