The Paradise Bobcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell to Anderson 46-42. Paradise has not had much luck with Anderson recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Despite the loss, Paradise had strong showings from Jeremiah Gall, who scored 17 points, and Aaron Davis, who scored 7 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals. Gall scored a full 40.5% of Paradise's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Voigt, who scored 5 points.
Ryson Burks was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds. Malachi Tyler was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 12 rebounds.
Paradise's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Anderson, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Paradise is on the road again on Saturday and play against Los Molinos at 3:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Hopefully Los Molinos focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 on Friday. As for Anderson, they will head out on the road to face off against Clear Lake at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Allowing an average of 61 points per game, Clear Lake has struggled on the defensive end, but that doesn't have to be the case in this contest.
