On Saturday, Joshua Christian Academy had to suffer through a rough 62-35 loss at the hands of Pathways. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Joshua Christian Academy has scored all season.
Pathways' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carlos Escalera, who scored 15 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Steven Edwards, who scored 13 points along with five steals.
Joshua Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Pathways, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.
Joshua Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Pathways' road trip will continue as they head out to face Wade Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th. Wade Christian Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
