J.F. Webb kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 22-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles.
Despite the loss, J.F. Webb still got an impressive performance from Ja'Shawn Fisher, who picked up 80 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. J.F. Webb will take on Warren County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully J.F. Webb focused on turnovers this week as team gave up six on Friday. As for Ben L. Smith, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Harding University at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
