It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Palestine-Wheatley Patriots can now relate to. They had to suffer through a rough 42-0 loss at the hands of Prescott. Palestine-Wheatley has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Jah'noah Harris was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 110 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries. The team also got some help courtesy of K J Page, who rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown.
Palestine-Wheatley has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Prescott, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.
Palestine-Wheatley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Prescott will square off against Fordyce at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fordyce is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
