The South Sevier Rams will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against the Water Canyon Wildcats at 7:00  p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
 Last Thursday, South Sevier faced Kanab in a battle between two of the state's top teams. South Sevier took a   58-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kanab. It was the first time  this season that South Sevier let down their fans at home.
 The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was  Caitlin Nielson, who  scored 17 points along with two  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sydnee Patterson, who  scored 11 points along with nine  rebounds and two  steals.
 Meanwhile, Water Canyon's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Thursday after their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough  62-31 loss at the hands of Enterprise. Water Canyon was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  40-10.
 South Sevier's loss  ended  a  five-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 13-3. As for Water Canyon, their defeat was  their fourth straight at home, which  bumped their record down to 2-10.
 Everything came up roses for South Sevier against Water Canyon in their previous meeting  back in December of 2023 as the  squad secured a  86-26 win. With South Sevier ahead  58-9 at the half, the  match was all but over already.
