Iowa School for the Deaf are packing up and hiking across state lines for their game on Saturday. Their bye week comes to an end as they meet up with Missouri School for the Deaf at 2:00 PM . Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 14-68, which was the final score in Iowa School for the Deaf's tilt against Wisconsin School for the Deaf two weeks ago. Iowa School for the Deaf were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-30.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 58 points the game before, Missouri School for the Deaf faltered in their match last Saturday. They took a serious blow against New Mexico School for the Deaf last Saturday, falling 6-55. Missouri School for the Deaf were down by 6-49 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
