 In other batting news, Somerset Tech let  Caden Winnicki and  Cole Russomanno run wild. Winnicki  got on base  in all five of his plate appearances with five  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI, while  Russomanno  went 2-for-4 with seven  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI. Those  seven  stolen bases gave  Russomanno a new career-high.  Lundyn Robertson also deserves some recognition as  he  got his first  hit of the season.
 Somerset Tech  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least 11  hits in six consecutive  matches.
Somerset Tech's record now sits at 6-3. As for East Brunswick Vo-Tech, their  loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 10-2.
