They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 59-56 win over Hopedale. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Douglas' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adam Dunphy, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Colton Howard, who scored 13 points.
Hopedale lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Patrick Madden, who scored 21 points. That was a full 37.5% of Hopedale's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Robbie Manning, who scored 14 points.
