After two weeks on the road, Palestine-Wheatley is heading back home. On Friday they will take on McGehee at 7:00 PM. Palestine-Wheatley come in off of three low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
Things haven't been easy for Palestine-Wheatley, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They took a 6-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lakeside.
Last Friday, McGehee put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They were the clear victor by a 28-6 margin over Barton. The rankings were on McGehee's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result.
McGehee's victory lifted them to 4-3 while Palestine-Wheatley's defeat dropped them down to 3-3. We'll see if McGehee's success rolls on or if Palestine-Wheatley are able to steal their positive momentum.
