When it comes to explaining why Valley Lutheran lost, one person who can't be blamed is Elijah Wolter. Despite the final result, he scored 27 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wolter has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Shane Darling, who scored nine points.
Ithaca is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Valley Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

As for Valley Lutheran, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Chesaning at 7:30 p.m. Chesaning will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Valley Lutheran surely won't give up without a fight.
