Having just played yesterday, the Hayden Lobos will get right back to it and host the Cicero Prep Academy Centurions at 5:30 p.m. on January 24th. Hayden comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
On Tuesday, Hayden came up short against Dishchii'bikoh and fell 33-20.
Cicero Prep Academy suffered their biggest defeat since December 13, 2023 on Friday. They were dealt a 46-13 defeat at the hands of Maryvale Prep.
Despite the loss, Cicero Prep Academy got a solid performance out of Maggie Hooppaw, who scored 12 points along with four steals and two blocks. Hooppaw is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.
Hayden's loss dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Cicero Prep Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
Hayden beat Cicero Prep Academy 31-19 in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Will Hayden repeat their success, or does Cicero Prep Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
