Canton won the last time they faced Callaway and things went their way on Friday too. The Canton Tigers were the clear victor by an 18-1 margin over the Callaway Chargers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Tristian Carpenter made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Carpenter was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Erick Lowery, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Elijah Kiner was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

Canton now has a winning record of 2-1.
