Bakersfield proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by six) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Ridgeview Wolf Pack 13-12. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-2 on Wednesday.

Bakersfield let Ryann Arnold and Daisy Romero run wild. Arnold went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Romero went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Romero has posted since back in March. Teriahna Robertson was another key player, going 2-for-5 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Bakersfield kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Bakersfield's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-13. As for Ridgeview, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.

Bakersfield wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-3 victory against Independence on the 6th. As for Ridgeview, they have also already played their next matchup, a 12-10 loss against North on the 4th.
