Juanita Sanchez Complex strolled past Prout with points to spare, taking the game 90-76. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Juanita Sanchez Complex also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Kyle Delves had a dynamite game for Juanita Sanchez Complex, shooting 7-for-12 from deep and dropping a double-double on 47 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Hernandez, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Juanita Sanchez Complex's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-0. As for Prout, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Juanita Sanchez Complex will be home for the holidays to greet St. Patrick Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Prout will be home for the holidays to greet Block Island at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
