Mason Atkins Delivers Electric Performance Vs Aurora East
Mason Atkins was instrumental in extending West Aurora's winning streak to eight on Friday. Atkins did his part (and then some), throwing for 195 yards and six touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes for the 'W'. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last four times he's played.
West Aurora's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Atkins and West Aurora will face off against Streamwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 53 yards.
This year, Powers has caught 9 touchdowns while averaging 50 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had two receiving touchdowns.
