After flying high against the Lockney Longhorns on Tuesday, the Muleshoe Mules came back down to earth. Muleshoe was outmatched by Farwell on the road and fell 76-40. Muleshoe was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-19.
Farwell got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kennedi Richey out in front who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Landri Richey was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 6 blocks and 3 steals.
Muleshoe has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Farwell, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.
Muleshoe will be playing in front of their home fans against Sudan at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Farwell will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Shallowater at 1:00 p.m. on November 30th.
