The Lakeshore will be playing at home against the Loranger Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Lakeshore's 11-3 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They fell 21-14 to Salmen on Friday.
Kato Pichon jr put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. Pichon jr's longest rush was for an incredible 98 yards.
Meanwhile, Loranger pushed their score all the way to 38 two Fridays ago, but even that wasn't enough to win. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 46-38 to Pearl River, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Loranger in their matchups with Pearl River: they've now lost three in a row.
Lakeshore's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 1-4. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.33 points per game. Loranger has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
Lakeshore took their victory against Loranger in their previous matchup back in October of 2022 by a conclusive 35-13. Will Lakeshore repeat their success, or does Loranger have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
