First Colonial is 9-1 against Salem since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Patriots will host the Sundevils at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

First Colonial is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight games dating back to last season on Tuesday. They came up short against Cox, falling 11-1.

Meanwhile, Salem lost 19-5 to Landstown on Tuesday. The Sundevils haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Hayden Avellaneda made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

First Colonial's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Salem, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

First Colonial got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 against Salem by a conclusive 11-1 score. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Sundevils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
