1A Southern Peaks recap November 19, 2013
Centauri extended the longest winning streak in 1A Southern Peaks this week by beating Limon, 21-8. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.
Centauri made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,029 from 3,710. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 21-8 victory over the Badgers last week.
Ignacio's Adison Jones and Clayton Jefferson led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Jones has thrown for 1,997 yards this season, while Jefferson has 51 catches for 740 yards. Jason Buhr from Kyle Forster's team leads the league in rushing with 1,060 yards.
The Falcons led the league in points allowed with 8.
