As a matter of fact, that's the most points Trujillo has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Camren Houser, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Dream City Christian Open's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Sequoia Pathfinder Verrado Way, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 18-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dream City Christian Open on the road again on Friday and play against Imagine Prep at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Imagine Prep is ranked 25th, while Dream City Christian Open is ranked 18th). As for Sequoia Pathfinder Verrado Way, they will head out on the road to square off against Bella Vista College Preparatory School at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
