The Steubenville Big Red and the Archbishop Alter Knights squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Steubenville Big Red had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Knights 48-0. Steubenville's defeat signaled the end of their 13-game winning streak.
Steubenville's loss dropped their record down to 13-2. As for Archbishop Alter, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.
Steubenville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Archbishop Alter will head out on the road to face off against Glenville at 7:30 p.m. on December 2nd. Glenville is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
