Baseball Recap: Riverton Parke Has No Trouble Against Attica

Riverton Parke never let their opponents score on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Attica Red Ramblers with a sharp 11-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

Karson Stark looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Collett Sanders, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Belcher, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Riverton Parke was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Attica only posted a batting average of .176.

The win made it two in a row for Riverton Parke and bumps their season record up to 13-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Attica, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15-1 record this season.
