The West Jordan Jaguars scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Granger 65-28 at home. The win was familiar territory for West Jordan who now have four in a row.
West Jordan got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Colton Blackham out in front who scored 14 points along with three steals. Quinton Robinson was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Granger's loss came despite strong showings from Jayden Silas and Isaiah Gukeisen. Silas scored five points along with five rebounds, while Gukeisen scored seven points along with two steals.
Granger struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
West Jordan pushed their record up to 5-10 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Granger, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
West Jordan will head out on the road to square off against Kearns at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Kearns focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Tuesday.
