Miami Valley recap November 5, 2013
Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy added to the longest winning streak in Miami Valley this week by beating North College Hill, 33-7. The victory was the 10th in a row for the Eagles.
Summit Country Day led the league in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on Lockland.
Lockland's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Elijah Alexander has thrown for 1,205 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Jaquan Short has 44 catches for 610 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Cincinnati Country Day takes on the Silver Knights. At the moment, the Indians are in second, while Summit Country Day is in third.
Cincinnati Christian made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,254 from 11,535. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 34-0 victory over St. Bernard-Elmwood Place last week.
