Baseball Recap: Fort Lee Has No Trouble Against Ridgefield Park

Fort Lee won the last time they faced Ridgefield Park and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bridgemen were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Scarlets. Considering the Bridgemen have won five matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Bradley Li tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over 5.2 innings pitched.

At the plate, Jack Dorkhom was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Jake Lee also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Fort Lee kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive games.

Fort Lee is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Ridgefield Park, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Looking ahead, Fort Lee will challenge Ridgefield Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ridgefield Park, they will take on Saddle Brook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
