Nick Berlingeri of Fairview ran for the longest rushing play in A District 1 this season against Mooreland last week. Berlingeri ran for 85 yards on the play and finished with 64 on the day as his team topped the Bearcats.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Okeene beat Oklahoma Bible 14-6. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Brett Fast threw for 191 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was 12-16 with 1 interception.
Scott Dobrinski was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 103 yards on 23 carries as Okeene beat Mooreland.
Chris Cayot's team's Fast and Smith led A District 1 in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback Fast has thrown for 681 yards this season, while Smith has 28 catches for 303 yards. Jeff Wardlaw's team's Dobrinski leads the league in rushing yards with 916.
Dobrinski of the the Whippets is just 84 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Dobrinski has rushed for 916 yards on 143 carries so far this year.
The Yellowjackets are in fourth place, while Texhoma is in second place.
Fairview led the league in scoring this week after putting up 47 points on Frank Howard's team. Fast ran for 53 yards in the win.
