Last Monday, Glendale Prep Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Chandler Prep, taking the game 48-40. The victory was just what Glendale Prep Academy needed coming off of a 66-46 loss in their prior match.
Among those leading the charge was Jacob Krause, who scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Chase Fredrickson, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds.
Meanwhile, BASIS Phoenix's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 72-16 defeat at the hands of Heritage Academy. BASIS Phoenix was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-9.
Camp Verde's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Glendale Prep Academy's defeat dropped theirs to 5-1.
Everything came up roses for Glendale Prep Academy against BASIS Phoenix in their previous matchup back in January as the team secured a 55-24 victory. Will Glendale Prep Academy repeat their success, or does BASIS Phoenix have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
