Jevon Edwards Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Thursday, South Aiken got the W thanks in part to Jevon Edwards playing the best football he has all season. Edwards' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 178 rushing yards. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 76-yard run.
Unfortunately for Airport, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Edwards. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Edwards saw the Eagles), he rushed for 250 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.6 yards per carry.

Bj Montgomery Goes Supernova in Gray Collegiate Academy Loss
Bj Montgomery put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in November of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 183 yards and a touchdown while picking up 11.4 yards per carry.
On the year, Montgomery has averaged 10.3 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 54.6 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 91.6 rushing yards.

Javarse Houston produced his most outstanding game to date while leading South Aiken to the win on Thursday. Houston picked up two sacks, made four total tackles (3.0 for loss), and defended a pass.

Another South Aiken player making an appearance on this list is Kyson Mcleod. He picked up 84 receiving yards and a touchdown. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 76 yards.
