The Buckeye Valley Barons will head out on the road to face off against the Tri-Valley Scotties at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Buckeye Valley is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
Last Thursday, Buckeye Valley strolled past Whitehall-Yearling with points to spare, taking the game 23-7. The win was just what Buckeye Valley needed coming off of a 41-8 defeat in their prior contest.
Buckeye Valley can attribute much of their success to Malakhi Ross, who rushed for 175 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.7 yards per carry.
Meanwhile, Tri-Valley entered their tilt with John Glenn with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Tri-Valley claimed a resounding 42-7 victory over John Glenn at home. The result was nothing new for Tri-Valley, who have now won six contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
Their wins bumped Buckeye Valley to 5-5 and Tri-Valley to 8-2.
