Joe Estes looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk).
At the plate, Andrew Fetty was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Colby Koga, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
The victory got Cascade back to even at 2-2. As for Kamiak, their record is now 3-1.
Cascade skirted past Kamiak 4-3 when the teams last played back in April of 2021. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cascade since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
