The Parkway Northwest Hoyas will head out on the road to take on the TECH Freire Charter Dragons at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Parkway Northwest will be strutting in after a victory while TECH Freire Charter will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Thursday, Parkway Northwest got the win against Philadelphia Academy Charter by a conclusive 53-33. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Parkway Northwest has managed all season.
Parkway Northwest found their leader in underclassman Kahleem Jordan, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Dyer, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, TECH Freire Charter's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They were beaten by High School of the Future 76-47. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points TECH Freire Charter has scored all season.
Parkway Northwest's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points per game. As for TECH Freire Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2.
Parkway Northwest was dealt a bruising 71-38 defeat at the hands of TECH Freire Charter in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Can Parkway Northwest avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
