The Sedgwick Cardinals lost against the Classical Saints back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Sedgwick took a 40-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Classical. Sedgwick has not had much luck with Classical recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Among those leading the charge was Charlie Graham, who scored 17 points along with 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Sam Wilkey, who scored 6 points along with 8 rebounds.
Sedgwick's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Classical, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Sedgwick will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kingman at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. Classical won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Belle Plaine at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th.
