On Monday, Vanguard Christian earned a 50-40 victory over McCauley Christian Academy.
Thomas Huron continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Lyssy, who scored six points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Vanguard Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for McCauley Christian Academy, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-9.
Vanguard Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Town East Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. As for McCauley Christian Academy, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome River City Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 29th.
