Despite the win, that was the fewest points Hamilton Heights Christian Academy has scored all year.
Hamilton Heights Christian Academy had a senior duo take command as Bryson Andrews went 8 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and 2 assists and Kevin De Kovachich scored 18 points along with five assists and four steals. Those 24 points set a new season-high mark for him. Kamai Samuels was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Hamilton Heights Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 10-2. As for Oak Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3.
Hamilton Heights Christian Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Pinson Valley at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Pinson Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five on Monday. As for Oak Ridge, they will head out on the road to face off against Sevier County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Tennessee (Sevier County is ranked 30th, while Oak Ridge is ranked 29th).
