Southeast Career Tech is 0-4 against the Longhorns since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners will head out on the road to face off against the Legacy Longhorns at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Southeast Career Tech focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 on Wednesday.
After a string of three wins, Southeast Career Tech's good fortune finally ran out. They had to suffer through a rough 55-20 loss at the hands of Valley. Southeast Career Tech was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-13.
They used a three-pronged attack on offense:

Bianca Vazquez, and
Emerson Leavitt posted four points each. Pernyak also led the team in assists with two. She held things down on the boards with six rebounds.
In what's become a running theme this season, Legacy gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They breezed by Eldorado on the road to the tune of 51-7. Given Legacy's advantage in MaxPreps' Nevada basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Sundevils are ranked 97th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Southeast Career Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Legacy, they pushed their record up to 16-9 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Southeast Career Tech was dealt a bruising 61-23 defeat at the hands of the Longhorns when the teams last played back in January. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Southeast Career Tech was down 42-8.
