CSTHEA had lost six straight, but after bumping their record up to 4-16 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Howard Tech Hstln Tigers 14-12. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Patriots considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

As for Howard Tech, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss they have suffered since April 26, 2025.

For Howard Tech's part, they got a massive performance out of Elijah Choice, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double. That triple marked the first that Choice has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Jaiden Boyd, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. CSTHEA will square off against Chattanooga Christian at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Howard Tech, they will challenge Tyner Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.14 runs per game on average), something the Hstln Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
