The Idea Timberwolves won the last time they faced the Washington Latin Public Charter School Lions, and things went their way on Thursday too. Idea took down Washington Latin Public Charter School 69-52.
Idea's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nehemiah Johnson led the charge by dropping a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. Malachi Hoston was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Idea has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Washington Latin Public Charter School, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Idea will take on Washington Leadership Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Washington Latin Public Charter School, they will head out on the road to face off against Digital Pioneers Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
