Sequoyah have had to suffer through a 3-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took their matchup against Pocola on Friday by a conclusive 34-13 score.
The win bumped Sequoyah's record up to 2-3. Pocola are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Sequoyah will look to defend their home turf next week against Vian at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams are strolling into their match after big wins in their previous games. As for Pocola, they will face off against Panama. Neither of these teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable loss.
