The Dupo Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Mt. Olive Wildcats at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Thursday, Dupo suffered a rough 46-26 defeat at the hands of Valmeyer. Dupo has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Dupo's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Lily McMannis, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds, and Kaitlyn Roberts who scored five points along with two steals.
Dupo's lineup was just a bit different on Thursday as Roberts got a bit more time on the court (22 vs. her season average of 11.21). Roberts made the most of the opportunity, scoring five points along with two steals. A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.
Meanwhile, Mt. Olive was the victim of a rough 50-29 loss at the hands of Pawnee/Calvary/Lutheran last Monday.
Dupo's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Mt. Olive, their loss dropped their record down to 8-14.
Dupo was taken down by Mt. Olive 58-20 in their previous matchup back in January. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Dupo was down 33-11.
